Jamie Dornan Will Be Christian Grey, Forever

Rumors ran rampant for two days. Fans were distraught. You can calm down now. Jamie Dornan’s rep confirms he will happily be in the other Fifty Shades of Grey movies.

“Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film,” his rep told Us Weekly.

The first movie has already earned over $400 million. Long term, this could be quite a successful franchise.

Stories circulated that Jamie was ditching the Grey role because of:
1) His wife’s disapproval
2) He doesn’t dig Dakota
3) He does want to be associated with dark materials (ha!)

But it ain’t true.

Jamie Dornan remains your Mr. Christian Grey. Are you happy?

  1. It was just a matter of time before the gossip mongers unleased their rubbish. His beautiful wife understands him perfectly. She supports him. He has a great relationship with Dakota and there was undeniable chemistry between the two in the film. I do hope Sam Taylor-Johnson stays on, but I wouldn’t be opposed to a new director. While I really liked the movie, I did think alot of sublties were missing. I hope that Darker includes much more of the story. There will be more character development regarding Jose, Kate, his family, etc., and of course we’ll get to meet the darker characters like Elena, Leila, and the real villain–Jack Hyde. It’s gonna be more in-depth and probably much harder to film, but I am more excited about Darker than the other two books. It’s the most important book in the Trilogy, I think!
